I'm Emily Whiteside, and I spent my entire life judging my body, hating it, and feeding it negativity. This is the hard truth for so many women out there.
I was never enough. I would never be enough. So I starved myself, to prove to myself that someday I would be enough.
I remember starving at lunch in high school, never packing a lunch. At most, I would eat one rice cake and carrots with mustard.
My stomach would growl so loudly in class. I was so embarrassed. I would press on it to make it stop. After I consumed food, (which would be a binge), I would look at my stomach in the mirror. I would judge myself, hate myself for it.
I even remember going to the doctor one time and they weighed me. The scale said I was slightly over 100 pounds. I cried.
I spent hours in the gym, making sure I burned more calories than I consumed.
In college, I started gaining weight. But, the eating disorder mindset never left me. It made my insecurity and unworthiness even worse.
I was still over exercising. At one point, I was spending 3-4 hours a day at the gym, 7 days per week.
My binge eating was out of control.
A couple years after college, I kept gaining more and more. I reached my highest weight and that’s when I felt my most depressed. I looked happy, but inside was a completely different story.
Right before fully starting my business, I got into manifestation. I used everything I was learning to change my mind, feelings I felt about myself, which turned into weight loss.
I lost 25 pounds, without dieting and exercising less. I’ve remained the same weight for years now, no diets, eating what I want, and exercising the way that feels good.
I created this program called “Manifest Your Dream Body” for you, the woman reading this and feeling it in her soul that she is ready to love her body fully, and stop the cycle of binging.
This journey is what connected me to my guides, spirituality, and helped me create the life of my dreams, and I am so grateful to share it with you in this self paced course.
